- Event submission and community calendar contributions
- Real-time alerts and updates from the Town of Prosper
ProsperScoop is provided as a community service and may be modified or discontinued at our sole discretion.
User Submissions
ProsperScoop welcomes user-submitted content including business reviews, recommendations, and event information. However, all submissions are voluntary and subject to our moderation policy.
Content Moderation
By submitting content to ProsperScoop, you grant us the right to display, modify, or remove your submission at any time, for any reason, without notice. We reserve the right to remove submissions that are:
- Offensive, harassing, or defamatory
- Spam or promotional in nature
- False or misleading
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Otherwise inappropriate for our community
User Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you submit. By submitting, you represent that you have the right to share this information and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Business Listings
ProsperScoop offers two types of business listings:
Free Listings
Basic business directory listings are available at no cost. Free listings include business name, category, and basic contact information.
Verified Listings ($25/month)
Businesses can upgrade to a Verified listing for $25 per month. Verified listings include additional features and a verification badge indicating that we have confirmed the business's legitimacy.
Important Disclaimer
ProsperScoop makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any business listing. Businesses are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their own information. We are not liable for incorrect, outdated, or misleading business information provided by business owners.
Verification of a listing does not constitute an endorsement of quality or accuracy of services/products offered by that business.
Intellectual Property
ProsperScoop owns all rights to the site's design, branding, layout, and original content, including but not limited to the ProsperScoop name, logo, and color scheme. These materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
User Content License
When you submit content to ProsperScoop (reviews, recommendations, event information, photos, etc.), you grant ProsperScoop a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on our website and related platforms. You retain ownership of your submitted content, but by submitting it, you allow us to use it as described.
Third-Party Content
ProsperScoop aggregates content from third-party sources including news feeds, social media feeds, and external websites. This content is not controlled, monitored, or endorsed by ProsperScoop.
News Aggregation
News content displayed on our site comes from Google News and other news aggregators. ProsperScoop does not verify the accuracy of external news content and assumes no responsibility for its contents.
Social Media Feeds
We display feeds from X/Twitter and other social platforms. Content from these feeds reflects the views of the original posters and not necessarily those of ProsperScoop. External links on our site are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
